Overview

This is the final week of course selection and it seems that we have finalized with four colorful teams of student designers. Thanks and have fun ~~~

    • We start checking attendance this week 🙂 So, welcome to the class/lab/workshop
  • [Homework]
    • After receiving feedback from you, we have decided to use Emails to upload your homework (MORE DETAILS HERE).
    • Be sure to follow the instructions and rename your file before sending it (HW01-12345678-ZhangSanfeng.pdf)
    • At the noon of each Monday, we will
      • Release new homework for that week, and
      • Release the solutions to the previous week’s homework
    • If you’d like to check your homework results for the previous week, please contact the Teaching Assistant assigned to your team.
      • If any question with your homework, you can contact your team’s Teaching Assistant, Mr. Xiao Xiaochuan, or me directly.

    • When in doubt, always check out this course website (https://maindl.ancorasir.com/).
    • There are a few resources that you should get yourself familiar with while moving on with this course
    • Your team’s webpage (password-protected), which contains most of the information that you need to care about throughout the class.
    • Your team’s Feishu shared folder, which contains templates for the Machine Design reports, and can also be used as a shared space for your team.
    • Chat groups on Feishu
      • One chat group for each Design Team (including Course Instructor & Team TA) for consultation on general matters.
        • Search in Feishu for “Red/Green/Blue/Yellow Team” and it should pop up
      • One chat group for each Task Force (including one Student Mentor) for consultation on specific machine design.
        • Search in Feishu for “Red/Green/Blue/Yellow Apple/Banana/Cherry” and it should pop up
        • I will not be in this chat group to give you guys privacy on design discussions.
        • Feel free to invite me to the group for a chat at any time.
      • One chat group for each Team Role (including Course Instructor & Corresponding Staff) for consultation on team issues
        • Search in Feishu for “[Your Team Role Name]” (if you have one) and it should pop up
